In spite of having a very good record for homing and finding fantastic adopters for our dogs, we still have some in our care that we hope to home very soon.

This week Rasta goes to Southampton, Sweetypie goes to Hull, Tito goes to Plymouth, Bear is going to Sheffield, Toby is going to Starfish rescue who have a home for him but will give him some time in foster, just to ensure the home is right for him. All of the dogs are going to their forever homes.

All of the work Actin does against cruelty is for the ultimate aim to reduce the amount of cases and to set up an organisation that people can turn to officially for help with cases like the ones we are dealing with. It is hard work and needs our full attention but we must ensure our dogs that have been rescued from cruel situations go on to have a good life and so we commit much of our time to this.

Now we still need homes for Paloma, rescued from the Goat shed, her story is here

Zlato was found by the body of a homeless man and we took her in because we felt so strongly that this homeless and poor man had taken care of his dog and even had her vaccinated, when so many who could, simply don’t. Out of respect we have taken her into our care. She has now been sterilised and is very much in need of her forever home. Zlato’s story here

Rubio rescued from a hunter and Zippy found in a bag a t just a few days old…we have many more that need homes, sponsorship, support. If you cannot home an Actin dog, please help us to keep going and to expand the good work we are doing.
